Working Capital Manager

An established logistics distribution and supply chain company based in Jakarta are currently recruiting for a Working Capital Manager job. The ideal candidate has three to five years' experience in reporting knowledge within the industry

About the Working Capital Manager Role:
This is a critical role as you will be responsible for all matters within credit collection, accounts receivable, customer credit limit and working capital/cash flow. This role is reporting directly to Finance Manager. Based in Jakarta, this is a great opportunity to join the finance team of an establish multinational company.

Key Responsibilities:

• Managing working capital management, including the distribution of working instructions, monitoring the implementation, leading the team to monitor KPI and internal control systems
• Providing on-going training to branches to support their improvement
• Mitigate operational inefficiencies and explore automation opportunities within the Finance system to ensure smoother process flows
• Lead and implement corporate transformation projects/tools
• Monitoring the month-end and year-end closing processes related to Working Capital
• Performing credit assessment of potential customers before on-boarding customers
• Performing weekly reviews of overdue customers with the local management team and come up with action plan to ensure collections
• Supporting the team by overall monitoring of the department and leading continuous improvement initiatives to improve the overall efficiency of the function
• Preparing documents for internal audit and external audit checking and coordination

To succeed in this Working Capital Manager role, you will need to have to have great analytical skills and strong business acumen.

Key Requirements:

• At least three years’ experience in accounting firm
• At least five years' experience as an account receivable manager or credit controller in a high-pressure environment, preferably with a background in service industry
• Outstanding numeracy and literacy skills
• Computer literate, advanced experience in Microsoft Office and complex finance systems
• Exceptional people person, who recognizes valuable resources and can communicate effectively with internal/external clients
• Highly effective at managing and improving the delivery of high quality of service delivery to clients
