Finance Manager

A mining company based in Jakarta is currently seeking a Finance Manager. In this job, you must have at least five years of experience within the industry.

About the Finance Manager Role:
The role ensures the corporate reporting, decision making, financial control and finance operations. The position reports directly to the Regional Finance Controller.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare financial management consolidation reports
• Prepare financial projection for internal and external purposes
• Manage external auditors
• Provide specialist financial and commercial advice to operational management, driving financial performance through commercially sound decision making and analysis
• Assist the finance team (AR, AP, GL, Tax)
• Work with the operational team to ensure that there is a robust commercial process in place to achieve company’s bid, budgets and forecasts
• Monitor and maintaining the bank's credit facilities, including building and maintaining relationships with banks

To succeed in this Finance Manager role, you must be proficient in English, have solid experience in technical finance and be ready to work closely with other functions as well.

Key Requirements:

• Degree in accounting/finance/economics is required
• Strong analytical abilities combined with a pragmatic approach
• Dedicated, hands-on and a results-driven personality
• Previous experience at a mining company is a must
• Proven commercial acumen and negotiation skills gained through experience in dealing with complex contracts
• Strong in Excel financial modelling
• Strong communicator with the confidence to challenge, influence, and support at all levels
