Finance Executive

A leading multinational medical devices and equipment company based in Jakarta is seeking a Finance Executive to join their team. In this job you will be responsible for end-to-end finance accounting and HR function of the company including but not limited to GL, reporting, budgeting, balance sheet, AP and AR, tax, and payroll. The ideal candidate will have five years of experience in finance within the industry.

About the Finance Executive Role:
This position will be a critical role within the finance/accounting division reporting directly to the Finance Director. This is a great opportunity to join the finance team of a multinational company. Based in Jakarta, this is a great opportunity to lead the finance team of an established multinational company.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare full set of accounts including bank reconciliation, maintain AR and AP records, and necessary accounting schedules
• Prepare monthly management reports
• Prepare company tax returns and quarterly VAT reports
• Maintain and reconcile intercompany transactions
• Manage cash flow projection and treasury functions
• Be responsible for invoicing and accounting functions
• Coordinate and liaise with external auditors.

Human Resource

• Work with the external payroll company and ensure payroll is accurate
• Advertise, interview, recruit, and onboard new employees
• Communicate and implement global HR initiatives in Success Factors
• Source and organise appropriate training for employees
• Manage the performance management process, including appraisals
• Tackle employee grievances and be able to balance employee and organisational needs
• Prepare yearly budget for human resource
• Advise the Country Manager on local labour laws and regulations
• Organise employee welfare activities such as team building
• Standardise policies and processes and communicate to employees

To succeed in this role, you will need to be technically strong in finance and HR.

Key Requirements:

• Degree in finance, business or a related discipline
• Minimum of five years of experience in both HR and finance
• Able to work independently and make decisions independently when needed
• Able to communicate excellently in written and spoken English
• Open-minded and able to continuously improve the Finance and Human Resource processes
• Excellent organisational skills
• Meticulous and detailed
• Excellent in MS Office, especially Excel
• Able to learn and use new platforms in finance and HR
