Finance Manager

About the Finance Manager Role:
As the Finance Manager, you will be responsible for handling end-to-end accounting finance, budgeting and reporting to the General Manager.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare interim and yearly financial statements in accordance with the legislation and accounting rules (IFRS and local GAAP) and the operating budget
• Oversee, manage and coordinate all fiscal reporting activities for the organisation, including organisational revenue/expense and balance sheet reports, reports to funding agencies, development and monitoring of organisational and contract/grant budgets
• Ensure adequate cash flow to meet organisational/BU needs
• Manage tax obligations in accordance with the deadlines, both in terms of payments and annual or periodic tax returns
• Manage company controlling and auditing, keeping contact with auditors
• Prepare and issue management reporting on the KPIs used by the group
• Calculate and distribute wages and salaries
• Prepare regular reports and summaries of accounting activities
• Enter invoices into accounts payable system weekly after verifying a purchase order was received from ordering department head and obtaining the General Manager's approval
• Forecast cash payments and anticipate challenges arising from limited cash flow
• Ensure that cash flow is adequate to allow business units to operate effectively
• Maintain banking relationships and negotiate loans and merchant services for business units
• Verify recorded transactions and report irregularities to the management

To succeed in this role, you will need to be technically strong in accounting, finance and tax.

Key Requirements:

• Bachelor's (or above) degree in accounting or equivalent with professional qualifications such as CPA is preferred
• Three to five plus years’ experience in financial analysis, reporting and systems implementation
• Big 4 background is preferred
• Experience in a multinational company
• Good command of English
• Team player and able to work independently
• Good track record of managing and developing teams
• Positive, driven, enthusiastic and ambitious for the business
