Finance Operations Manager

A rapidly leading local retail company based in Jakarta is seeking a Finance Operations Manager to join their team. In this job, you will be responsible for end-to-end accounting function of the company including but not limited to GL, reporting, budgeting, balance sheet, AP and AR and tax.

About Finance Operations Manager Role:
This position will be a critical role within the finance/accounting division reporting directly to the Financial Controller. Based in Jakarta, this is a great opportunity to join the finance team of a leading local retail company.

Key Responsibilities:

• Control AP and CM transactions recording and payment process to ensure its accuracy and timely execution; review and approve payment for overseas transactions (AP and CM), ensure data/document requirements are completely done according to applicable company’s policy and financial judgement
• Control AR ageing; review and approve occasional transactions with significant amount and its risk of assessment (low/medium/high) to ensure they are acknowledged and also approved by the Finance Head
• Control and approve monthly budget (include weekly payment plan), prepared by each section head, review and monitor cash flow, control AR and AP ageing and overdue, goods receipt/invoice receipt (GR/IR) clearing
• Review required data for audit committee meeting, control and review required data for financial audit or other audits
• Provide ad hoc data as requested by the management
• Drive improvement and simplification of business process in financial operation area to adapt to changing business needs to achieve process efficiency and effective internal controls and ensure full compliance that will lead to the integrity of financial information and reporting
• Partner with the business/operations team in supporting financial operation related function in managing payment and cash collection process
• Provide sufficient coaching and supervision for each team member

To succeed in this role, you must have at least 10 years of experience in finance within the industry.

Key Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree (or above) in accounting or equivalent
• At least 10 years' experience in an accounting field and three years’ experience in a managerial position; Experience in retail or relevant industries is preferred
• Experience in a big four accounting firm
• Strong analytical thinker, detail oriented and good leadership skills
• Strong knowledge in SAP, accounting standard, Indo PSAK and basic tax regulations
• Familiar with Indonesian accounting and tax regulation
• Fluency in Indonesian and English is a must
