Finance & Accounting Manager

An excellent Finance & Accounting Manager job has just become available at multinational real estate and property company. In this job, you will be part of the finance team and responsible to assists all matters within finance, accounting and finance operation of the business and other ad hoc issues.

About the Finance and Accounting Manager Role:
This position will be a critical role within the finance division and report directly to the Financial Controller. Based in Jakarta, this is a great opportunity to be part of the finance team of a leading multinational real estate and property company.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the project financing arrangement with financial institutions.
• Prepare and provide accurate monthly standalone and consolidated financial reports
• Support accounting procedures implementation, ensure all financial transactions complied with both parent company and the joint venture company’s regulations and accounting principles
• Reconcile daily, monthly, and yearly transactions
• Assist on the placement of liquid assets with banks to achieve the highest possible returns
• Assist in preparations of monthly forecast on cash position
• Handle the full range of tax matters in compliance with prevailing tax law and regulations onshore and offshore in a timely manner
• Handle the day-to-day project account functions including keeping track of a purchase order issued for procurement, processing of their payment after the vetting by the contract department and preparing journal entries
• Be in charge and the first key point of contact during the audit
• Assist in supervising the project finance team
• Manage other duties as assigned by the management team

To succeed in this role, you must possess good leadership, communication skills and strong business partnering abilities.

Key Requirements:

• Degree in accountancy, ACCA or a related field
• CPA certification is preferred
• Minimum of seven years of relevant project accounting, tax and finance management working experience, at least three to four years of experience in the real estate industry is required
• Must have previous experience in the real estate and property industry
• Experience with supervising a small team is required and MNC work experience is preferred
• Good understanding of Indonesian tax requirements
• Able to lead the team and also work independently and willing to be hands on at handling complex and ambiguous situations
• Good interpersonal and communication skills to engage effectively with colleagues across divisions and external business partners
