Finance Manager

An excellent Finance Manager job has just arisen at a large multinational company within the retail industry in Jakarta. In this job you will be responsible for all finance, accounting, and tax matters for the company along with other ad hoc issues.

About the Finance Manager Role:
This position will be a critical role within the finance division reporting directly to the CFO and be a strategic partner to the GM and business line heads in managing the business. Based in Jakarta, this is a great opportunity to join the finance team of a growing local conglomerate.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide leadership, direction and management of the finance, accounting, tax, and treasury team
• Be responsible for financial controls on reports, forecasting and validating accuracy of all financial reports and tax reports
• Direct and control the financial functions of the company
• Ensure financial reports are prepared in line with accounting policies, specified and required by global HQ
• Ensure financial reports must comply with all statutory and fiscal requirements of global HQ and the statutes of Indonesia
• Ensure that appropriate and accurate management information is available promptly on a timely basis
• Assist senior management in the strategic planning process, review and analyse all submissions of business strategy
• Review all formal finance and compliance related needs and procedures

The successful candidate must possess good communication and strong business partnering skills.

Key Requirements:

• CPA or MBA is preferred
• Work experience in public accounting firm (Big 4 is preferred) as an Audit Senior Manager (at least three years of experience for Audit Managers)
• Experience with managing team of at least 10 people
• Experience with reporting to regional office or headquarter
• Familiar with using SAP
• Leadership skills in managing and coaching a team
• Proven ability to work independently, but demonstrates leadership in managing a large team
• Proven effective communication skills with all levels of person
