Finance Manager

Our client is an established new media and internet company based in Jakarta. They are currently looking for Finance Manager to join their existing team; the ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience in finance within the industry. In this job you will be responsible for all finance matters for the company.

About the Finance Manager Role:
In the business critical role, you will be responsible for playing a key role in leading the finance and accounting team. You will also need to have strong interpersonal skills. This role will be reporting to the CEO.

Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver and operate daily financial transaction or activities
• Support decision making by providing stakeholders with timely, detailed and meaningful insights and visibility on business performance
• Complete financial planning, budgeting, forecasting/projection, and reporting
• Deliver reports and metrics to management
• Work closely with the finance team and cross departments to achieve business goals
• Month-end closing of the books and timely deliverables of requirements
• Ensure compliance with GAAP and group accounting standards
• Review balance sheet accounts reconciliations
• Prepare variance analysis against budget and prior years
• Manage external auditors and statutory reporting requirements
• Ensure overall tax compliance, accuracy and timeliness of company’s tax reporting
• Identify and mitigate tax risks by improving processes and implementing best practices

Key Requirements:
• At least five to seven years' of professional experience
• Detail-oriented and analytical
• Mentoring and leadership skills
• Ability to balance team/individual workloads through time management and prioritisation
• Proficient and articulate communicator in both English and Bahasa Indonesia
• Solid leadership with excellent presentation and negotiation skills
