Assistant Finance Manager

Our client is a multinational retail company based in Jakarta. They are currently looking for an Assistant Finance Manager to join their existing team; the ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of experience in budgeting and reporting knowledge within the industry.

About the Assistant Finance Manager Role:
As the Assistant Finance Manager, you will be responsible for handling end-to-end accounting finance, budgeting and reporting to the Head of Finance.

Key Responsibilities:
• Month-end closing of the books and timely deliverables of requirements
• Ensure compliance with GAAP and group accounting standards
• Review balance sheet accounts reconciliations
• Prepare variance analysis against budget and prior years
• Manage external auditors and statutory reporting requirements
• Ensure overall tax compliance, accuracy and timeliness of company’s tax reporting
• Identify and mitigate tax risks by improving processes and implementing best practices
To succeed in this role, you will need to be technically strong in accounting, finance and tax.

Key Requirements:
• Bachelor's (or above) degree in accounting or equivalent
• Three to five plus years’ experience in financial analysis, reporting and systems implementation
• Experience in the e-commerce business
• Good command of English
• Team player and able to work independently
• Good track record of managing and developing teams
• Positive, driven, enthusiastic and ambitious for the business
