About the Finance Controller role:

In the business critical role, you will be responsible for controlling and monitoring financial and administrative matters ( accounting, budgeting, taxation, administration as well as compliance). You will also need to implement the initiative for cost reduction and performance improvement which will impact the bottom line of this FMCG business.

Key responsibilities:

• Manage and lead the P/L for division
• Responsible for management/cost accounting, management reporting, budgeting, finance, taxes
• Produce and analyse relevant financial, management and production information/reports and KPIs
• Liaise with external parties, such as; banks, external auditors, tax department and various other government/regulatory institutions
• Develop, implement and control financial and administrative processes and procedures (ensuring compliance)
• SAP Implementation Project
• Initiate cost saving initiatives for cost reduction

To succeed in the Finance Controller job, you must proficient in English, have solid experience in technical finance and accounting skills as well as possess excellent leadership skills.

Key requirements:

• Undergraduate degree in Accounting/Finance is required, postgraduate degree is preferred
• Minimum eight years' experience in a finance department
• Strong analytical abilities combined with pragmatic approach
• Experienced with management/financial reporting as well as the financial analysis
• Dedicated, hands on and results driven
