An opportunity has arisen to join a prestigious organisation in Jakarta as Deputy CFO. This pivotal role is designed for someone who thrives in a collaborative and supportive environment, where your expertise will directly influence the financial direction and long-term success of the business.

What you'll do:

As Deputy Chief Financial Officer, you will play an integral part in guiding the organisation’s financial journey. Your day-to-day responsibilities will involve partnering with executive leadership to craft forward-looking strategies that underpin every aspect of the company’s operations. You will oversee complex budgeting cycles, coordinate forecasting activities across departments, and ensure prudent management of cash flow and investments. By building trusted relationships with investors and external partners worldwide (excluding banks), you will secure vital funding streams that fuel innovation and expansion. Your analytical insights will empower senior leaders to make well-informed choices while your commitment to compliance ensures stability. In this role, your ability to nurture talent within the finance team will contribute significantly to a culture of mutual respect, learning, and achievement.

* Develop and implement the company’s overarching financial strategy in close alignment with its evolving business goals, ensuring all activities support sustainable growth.
* Lead the annual financial planning process, including budgeting and forecasting, by collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure accuracy and transparency.
* Oversee capital allocation decisions and design funding strategies from external sources both locally and internationally, excluding traditional banking channels.
* Manage cash flow operations, working capital requirements, and investment portfolios to maintain optimal financial health across all business units.
* Serve as the primary liaison for investors, analysts, and financial institutions by nurturing positive relationships built on trust, transparency, and open communication.
* Provide insightful analysis of financial performance to senior management, offering recommendations that drive informed decision-making at the highest levels.
* Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and internal policies by establishing robust controls and risk management frameworks throughout the finance function.
* Support fundraising efforts by identifying new opportunities for capital raising while maintaining strong connections with existing stakeholders.
* Mentor and guide finance team members to foster their professional development within a nurturing environment focused on shared success.

What you bring:

To excel as Deputy Chief Financial Officer, you will bring an impressive track record of senior-level experience within finance functions—ideally gained from large organisations or multinational environments. Your academic background provides a solid grounding in core principles while your extensive hands-on experience equips you with practical insights into every facet of corporate finance. You are adept at navigating complex capital markets globally, leveraging your network to secure alternative funding sources when needed. Your approach is grounded in empathy; you understand how important it is to communicate transparently with both internal teams and external partners. With a passion for mentoring others, you create an atmosphere where everyone feels supported in their professional journey. Your analytical acumen is matched only by your ability to collaborate effectively across departments—ensuring that every decision reflects shared values and collective ambition.

* A bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or a related discipline is required for this position as it forms the foundation for understanding complex financial concepts.
* At least 15 years of progressive experience in financial leadership roles demonstrates your deep familiarity with managing large-scale finance functions.
* A thorough understanding of financial modelling techniques enables you to provide accurate forecasts and scenario analyses for strategic planning purposes.
* Comprehensive knowledge of capital markets allows you to identify innovative funding solutions beyond traditional banking channels on both local and global scales.
* Proven expertise in risk management ensures you can anticipate challenges proactively while safeguarding organisational assets.
* Exceptional interpersonal skills are essential for building rapport with investors, analysts, colleagues, and other stakeholders in a considerate manner.
* Outstanding communication abilities enable you to present complex information clearly to diverse audiences at all levels of the organisation.
* Demonstrated experience managing investor relations showcases your capacity for fostering trust-based partnerships that support long-term objectives.
* A strategic mindset empowers you to adapt quickly within fast-evolving environments while remaining committed to communal goals.
