Your day-to-day activities will involve close collaboration with executive leadership as you provide expert guidance on strategic investments, oversee complex multi-entity consolidations, and ensure rigorous compliance with regulatory frameworks. You will be responsible for building high-performing finance teams that work together seamlessly with operations and commercial functions. Success in this role requires a commitment to nurturing talent within your department while driving automation initiatives that enhance efficiency. By leveraging your deep understanding of tax matters—including bonded zone management—and your fluency in Mandarin, you will help the organisation navigate both local challenges and international opportunities. Your ability to foster an inclusive environment where knowledge sharing is encouraged will be instrumental in supporting business expansion.

  • Lead mergers, acquisitions, and investment initiatives by evaluating opportunities and managing due diligence processes to facilitate strategic growth.
  • Drive profitability improvements and cost-efficiency measures across all business units through effective financial planning and operational oversight.
  • Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial modelling for all entities while ensuring accuracy and relevance of data used for decision-making.
  • Conduct thorough financial risk analysis and establish mitigation strategies to safeguard company assets and maintain stability.
  • Monitor key financial and operational metrics regularly to optimise performance and identify areas for improvement.
  • Ensure full compliance with local and international financial regulations, tax laws, and corporate governance standards by developing robust policies and controls.
  • Manage relationships with auditors, tax authorities, regulatory bodies, banks, investors, and other financial institutions to secure funding and maintain trust.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop finance teams across multiple entities while fostering collaboration between finance, operations, and commercial departments.

What you bring:

To excel as Chief Financial Officer in this manufacturing group based in Jakarta, you will bring extensive experience from senior finance roles where you have successfully managed multi-entity operations.
