What you'll do:
As the CFO, you will play a critical role in shaping the company's financial strategy. You will oversee all financial activities, from budgeting and forecasting to cash flow management and performance tracking. Your leadership will ensure timely and accurate preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports. You will also lead the company through its IPO process, working closely with investment banks, legal advisors, and auditors to ensure a smooth transition. Your role will also involve managing risk and ensuring compliance with local tax laws and regulations.
- Develop and implement financial strategies to drive business growth and profitability
- Provide strategic recommendations to the CEO and executive management team
- Manage company policies regarding capital structure, debt, taxation, and equity funding
- Oversee all financial activities, including budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, financial reporting, and performance tracking
- Lead accounting teams in maintaining compliance with accounting standards (GAAP/IFRS)
- Develop relationships with existing and potential investors
What you bring:
The ideal CFO candidate will bring a minimum of 10+ years of progressive finance and accounting experience. You should have proven experience as a CFO or in a senior financial leadership role within a startup, logistics or transportation industry. Direct experience managing the financial processes of a company through an IPO is essential. You should also have hands-on experience in end-to-end financial management, including accounting, tax compliance, and financial reporting.
