An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Accounts Receivable Manager to join a dynamic and fast-paced environment. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in managing AR overall, controlling AR Aging and AR Overdue, and negotiating with distributors regarding terms of payment and AR aging. The successful candidate will also have the chance to collaborate with other departments on how to protect AR.

What you'll do:

As an Accounts Receivable Assistant Manager, you will play a pivotal role in managing the company's overall accounts receivable. You will be responsible for controlling AR Aging and AR Overdue, using your expertise to implement effective strategies that minimise overdue payments. Your excellent negotiation skills will be utilised when dealing with distributors regarding terms of payment and AR aging. Furthermore, you will have the opportunity to collaborate with other departments on how to protect accounts receivable, contributing significantly to cross-departmental initiatives. Leading and developing a high-performing finance team will also fall under your remit.

  • Manage overall accounts receivable ensuring accuracy and efficiency
  • Control AR Aging and AR Overdue, implementing strategies to minimise overdue payments
  • Negotiate with distributors regarding terms of payment and AR aging, fostering strong relationships
  • Collaborate with other departments about how to protect accounts receivable, contributing to cross-departmental initiatives
  • Ensure compliance with all financial regulations and standards

What you bring:

The ideal candidate for this Accounts Receivable Assistant Manager position brings a wealth of experience in finance, specifically in handling accounts receivable. With at least five years' experience in this field, you are well-versed in all aspects of accounts receivable management. Your background in the retail sector (consumer goods) further enhances your understanding of the business landscape. As a seasoned manager, you know how to lead teams effectively and drive performance. Your business-level English proficiency enables you to communicate seamlessly within an international business context. Lastly, your excellent communication and strong negotiation skills set you apart as an effective communicator and negotiator.

  • Minimum of five years' experience in handling accounts receivable (finance)
  • At least two years' experience in the retail sector (consumer goods)
  • Minimum one year experience at managerial level
  • Business level proficiency in English
  • Excellent communication skills
